At least there was one, which is what we are asking for.

Oooh, I never even considered the possibility they might debut some new stuff! That would be awesome

I wasn't trying to bring you down. I promise! I actually think from later little bits & pieces that it sounds like they might be getting "back to work" sooner than they were saying at that time.

To use my favorite phrase that I've learned from this board, I'm gutted that I can't make this show. New Orleans is less than an 8 hour drive for me, but I already have plans for that weekend that are written in stone. Just about any other weekend, and I'd be there. Naturally.

They also performed HAND (the demo version) in 2004 on the American Music Awards.

For LH, Jon performed a few new ones for the R.S.V.P event--months before the release date.

There maybe other examples but these are the ones that came to mind when I considered the possibility after reading Terri's initial post.

Wow. I have no desire at all to go to New Orleans, but given that this show is on a Saturday and it's the closest they've been to where I live in 21 years, I think I might go!

Bon Jovi has been added to the lineup of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this spring. The rock act will make its first appearance at the festival on May 2.

PLEASE TELL ME THE NEXT ALBUM ISNT GOING TO BE JAZZ INSPIRED.....

Exactly my worry! Jon seems to be a really impressionable kind of guy, like a child.
Worst case scenario: i can see him extensively networking at this festival and then going home 'inspired' and totally re-writing the 'new album'.

Weeellllllll... jazz is related to blues which is related to rock, right?

As country is also related to rock, but it's not rock.
