You're talking about the guy who said in a live interview that he's "feeling great vocally" and that they dug into old album cuts like Hey God, Dry County, Blaze Of Glory during rehearsals. From which (other than DC once I guess) none of them had been played on the tour all through 2018 and 2019.
Them rehearsing a song and then playing it are two very different things - and always have been. Wild Is The Wind was rehearsed for Wembley 1995 and never played in that year, 99 In The Shade was rehearsed (I think in Australia) 2008 and all the tracks of The Circle were rehearsed with Live Before You Die, Fast Cars and Learn To Love already having gotten pre-programmed on David's keyboards for the promo cycle 2009.
None of them got played in that respective era.
