Embrace
 

A while back I mentioned Embrace in the 'Jovitalk Bandstand' thread and quite a few people liked theor sound.

Anyway, they've been away for quite some time, almost 8 years since their last release, but are now back with a new single, 'Refugees' out now, but an EP containing the song aint out until mid Feb and a new album simply titled 'Embrace'.

Refugees:
Quite a different soudn to the rest of their stuff, but still a great track all the same. Most of their songs feature Danny McNamara on vocals, but Refugees features his brother Richard on most of it, Danny does a few lines towards the end.


Anyway, let me know what you think folks ;)

Really impressed with it, sounds like nothing they've released before.

One of my endearing memories of a reasonably misspent youth are me and my buds on a Sunday morning laying around hanging by a thread in : the dank shade of the side stage tent at Gig on the Green while Embrace played. :)

I think it was even before they had their semi comeback with Gravity which makes me feel old.

I'm baw deep in marking for the SQA just now it won't be for a while but I'll definitely get round to it. I definitely liked the direction they sounded like they were going.

I Run and Follow You Home are growing on me. Would need to listen the album a few more times.
