Do you wear your shoes in the house?
 

I recently read a Dear Abby question about wearing shoes in the house. According to the column, Canadians take their shoes off and Americans, except for those in the Northeast, wear their shoes in the house. I think it might be a climate thing, where up in the Northeast USA and Canada we gets lots of rain, snow and other messy weather.

I'm in Canada, and my family, and pretty much everyone I know, takes their shoes off when they enter their own house or someone elses.

Do you wear your shoes in the house? And where do you live?

Not at my parents!! - They'd kill me!!

I tend not too, as my feet like to breath every now & then!!

hmm it depends...If I'm going to stay at home all day, I'm lazy and don't wear my shoes for sure. Sometimes I do, but it's a random thing I guess :P I live in Northern Italy :P

well, you didn't need to answer this one, it's understood :P I've seen German kids barefoot in every possible place you can think of! :P (even at the stadium :P )

If I've been out somewhere, when I come in I usually take off my shoes, but usually have a pair of socks on.

I have a cool pair of slippers that I sometimes wear, but my dog doesn't like them; he tries to eat them, lol. They are South Park Slippers; big padded ones with a character head on the front; Chef, lol.
