i live in northwest Alabama and i didn't feel a thing. i was exhausted and perhaps i slept through it. but i know some people who live close and said they felt it. he said he thought somebody was shaking his bed.

Massive earthquakes are god damn terrible!!
When you had one killed thousands of people, you wouldn't miss it. It was like Armageddon. Horrible memory. |
I heard the Alabama one was felt even in north MS. I know all our animals were insane that night and all the dogs around us were carrying on like it was the end of the world. I didn't feel anything, but I got up a few times to see if I could tell what was going on outside. I'm in the central part of the state, closer to Jackson.
