Nick Stories

Post the meaning of your names (Mousebounce, Yomamasofat, Choclady...)

Mongoose, can you tell me the story of the Mongoose Operation (Kennedy?)

Mousebounce 05-05-2003 12:35 AM

Mine is because my husband nicknamed me Mouse. I guess because I am always taking a mouse bite out of his food. He always gets the better stuff. Plus, my favorite foods are peanut butter and cheese, not together. And, I am short! :D

Bounce just came into play because it was the BJ cd that was out at the time I signed up.

Not too exciting, but there you go! :D

I guess I could figure out where you got yours from.

Jeanne 05-05-2003 12:40 AM

my nickname is not original at all...it's just my first name  so I cannot say I've got a great imagination for names! Althought most people tell me that Jeanne is unsual, because its used to be very popular around 1900 so lots of grand-mamas are named Jeanne, but if your around 20 being named Jeanne is quite rare back here in Quebec.

{_Warrior_} 05-05-2003 03:19 AM

Warrior......... right........ I used it for the first time I used irc, and I´m still with....
I´m a big fan of Saint Seiya cartoon with a lot of knights and warriors...... I think was because this....... I don´t remember right now, but it always sounded "good" to me

Rakel 05-05-2003 03:31 AM

well, my real name is Raquel, but I like to write and sign Rakel! :D

reincarnationofjonspants 05-05-2003 05:07 AM

:D

My name comes from.. well..

My friend was telling me this story when her mom went to work, after they got the tickets for the College Town show (or around the time they got the tickets). Her mom was talking to an older lady where upon she learned that my friend's mom was going to go see Bon Jovi she screamed - "I LOVE BON JOVI! I WANT TO BE REINCARNATED INTO JON'S PANTS!"

So, tada! :D

eeyore 05-05-2003 08:08 AM

well I choose Eeyore, because like Eeyore...I sometimes tend to be gloomy and look at life in the "glass is half empty" theory that he does.

As eeyore likes to say..."I might as well smile and get it over with."

Plus, I like donkeys and horses...Eeyore is a donkey. Eeyore is cute: just look at him, don't you just want to cuddle him lol.
And when my friends see little Eeyore things..like stuffed beanies, etc..they always pick it up for me.
