I don't think that this verse works very well for music. Much better for poetry I think. I'm gonna toy around with the chorus though. That's very good. Do you mind if I drop the "Trying is what I do best" line?
Walrus:You still there?

What would you guys think about writing a prequel to Back Into Dry County? A song explaining why our fictional character left, that sort of thing. Any thoughts?

Adrian

I don't have whats so ever problem with ur changing anything in there. If you can use anything and write a song that will be good enough for me. :)

ok, here i am, thanx for inviting me... so how everythings going on? what have u done till now?

Adrian 11-22-2003 12:14 AM

Well, we've written a 5 songs. Back Into Dry County, I'd Do Anything For You, Win Or Lose, Back, and Heartbreak Town (all of which I can PM you if you want, though it may take me a day or two). Tawtami is working on recording Heartbreak Town at the moment. Our band's name is now officially "DC". The name change is more unifying. We've sort of established ourselves as an independent band, but we're sticking to the BJ/DC/JT family. You posted here once saying you could write and play guitar for the band, are you still interested? Here's a list of who does what:

Allmike:Manager/song-writer
Tawtami:Lead vocalist/song-arranger/guitar(acoustic I think)
The Walrus:Song-writer
Adrian:Song-writer

We're looking for electric guitar players, drummers, keyboardists, and song-writers. Want to join?

Adrian

I'll try and PM you the songs later today. Actually, it'd be easier for Tawtami to send the songs to you, I PM'd them to her last week. But, I'll get 'em to you by tomorrow at the latest.
