Through an acquaintance online, I got invited to join Gmail, Google's new email service. Its a got a 1GB inbox, which I figured would be great for storing songs, pics, ect. Think I should sign up? If so, what should I use for the name? DCBAND? DryCountyBand?

yeah i saw it too but somehow didn't find any option to creat a email :? . well it doesn't matter what u name it, just let us know. :) So i sitll not seeing sara online, i guess she still not able to solve her internet thing i guess.

Well, she did say she was working on both her CD and our stuff, plus like you said, her internet was acting up. Any news, Tawtami?

Also, if anyone wants to pitch in with Wake Me Up (it could be scrapped if a better song comes along) that'd be great. I'm kinda running up against a wall with this one.

I'm gonna start work on WMU, don't know how it'll turn out. Walrus, your help on this one would be REALLY appreciated. :wink: Here's what we've got so far:

I really like the fence, stairs, grave, and record player pictures. They all look like they're pics from the Weathered CD jacket. 8) I really like them a lot. The stair and noose pics are kinda unsettling, the stairway especially. Looks like it goes into a haunted mine or something. Very cool!

One little critisism: Except for the record player, they look like they need a bit of smoothing, to me. The colors and edges seem to contrast a little too much.

8) thank you both! :) the stairway actually leads to some old mexican building. the noose one also has part of a mexican home in it. but these were mostly to see what style you were looking for, so for any future designs i'll try to make them more along the lines of the fence/grave/etc images.

i thought that too on 1 or 2 of them but didn't really know how to go about fixing it.

for anyone who's been trying to view the images lately it seems photobucket is down again (for me at least) so just check back later.
