Beach Boys
 

I've been on this board for a little while and I don't think i have ever read anyone mentioning them at all, except for myself that is. I consider them one of the best talents that have ever been around. After BJ of course. I love songs like Wouldn't it be nice, Little Duece Coupe, California Girls, Surfin U.S.A, and other songs of the like.

I think Brian Wilson was a bit nutty, but he certainly has a keen ear for music, as demonstrated by the complex instrument arrangement in Wouldn't it be Nice. It makes Phil Spectors wall of sound pretty ordinary.

I was just interested in other peoples opinions on them. If they like them, hate them, or couldn't care less about them.

It's definitely my favourite song of theirs!! But what does it mean when they say they've got the pink slip daddy?! What the hell does that have to do with anything? I just don't get it!!!

I think it means ownership of the car or something like that. The folks are in bed so I can't ask them or can I?

At least, its the best I can come up with. I'll see what i can come up with in the morning.

Pink slip= ownership of the car.
You know, "Lets race for the pink slips." :P

Anyway, I like the Beach Boys too. Especially "Wouldn't It Be Nice," I love that song!
