Iv just realised that this song is actually AMAZING! its really quite sad and if i had to pick one song to showcase Jon's writing talent id probable pick this one! best of the YGII album

Yes, it is amazing! Even "amazing" doesn't do it justice. The lyrics will break your heart. Trivia: it was the first song Jon ever wrote entirely on piano and Elton John told Jon that Bearnie Taupin (Elton's writing partner) would love that song.

Did anyone of you recognize that the backing vocals are much clearer in the video than on the album? I always have this impression when I listen to it.

There is a remix of Dyin' where they er, 'turned up' elton john's vocals.
So i assume they used the remix for the video. It was realeased as a CD/7" single in france and if anyone has a copy for sale pm me : )

Dyin' is an excellent song, make no mistake!

Though, the best written song on YG2 has got to be Santa Fe.

It is a kick ass song and in my opinion the best on the album.

i listened to it last night.....and i didnt think it was that great......it was ok...
