Jon's voice- how can he help it???
People talk about Jon's voice being crap nowadays, yet what is he supposed to do?? :? He can't really help it, yet the show must go on. Anyways, his voice is only weaker in certain aspects, whereas in other ways, his voice is better than ever. Bloody hell, enjoy the fact that the man can sing as well as he can 20 years on! :)
Not much reasoning in this yet, just felt like voicing my opinion.... |
And i'm with you Chris

Aloha !
The only problem Jon is having is that he's not giving it all during most concerts. There's a major difference between the gig they held at the QVC performance and most of the rest of the tour. During the QVC performance you can hear he's giving a lot more. Salaam Aleikum, Sebastiaan |

I am curious how many of you have been to concerts yet this tour? I have been to three on the American leg and trust me, even with a cold and sore throat he was most definitely giving his all. I saw two shows in 2000-2001 and Jon sounds better this time out.

How do you know that Jon is not giving it his all? He is a perfectionist. Why do you assume that he is not giving it his all? You don't know what's going on. Everyone knows Jon has bad allergies. I'm sure that doesn't help his voice. And who knows what else he may suffer! His physical condition differes from gig to gig. Please stop making stupid assumptions when you don't know what's really going on. |
I detected no differences between the San Jose show on QVC and the shows at CAA, AC, and Philly I attended. If anything he was more intense at CAA and Philly than on QVC.

Yes, at CAA there was a lot of energy. It really was such a good performance. I guess I appreciated it more because I didn't really think the Crush tour was so great. I can't wait until Giants!!! |
