Ibrox Glasgow Fan Club Info
Hi please help me:
I am going tot the concert with a friend and my sister. I am a member of the fan club and have gold standing tickets for all of us. If we get special fan club seating then we will be escorted to the fan club area and back. does this mean that once we get escorted back, we will not be able to go back to our friends who will be standing in the gold area? If so then i dont think this is fair especially when we have paid so much money for the tickets. Anyone been to a concert before and been taken to the fan club section who knows what happens? Thanks for your help. |
There is no FC arrangement at Ibrox, yet. But the GOLD area is the pit, usually where the FC members go.

Firstly - I don't believe there will be fan club seating. BSWJBJ advised fans to buy the Gold Standing tix and as i understand it this will be the smaller barricaded area in front of the stage which all the Gold Standing ticket holders will have access to so it will be all standing. The official word on how the wristband thing is going to work at the UK shows hasn't been posted yet but keep an eye on the news section @ BSWJBJ and here I guess for what's going to happen this time. What has happened in the past, and of course is no guarantee of what will happen this time, is that the fanclub members lined up at a booth near the venue or the ticket office of the venue (depending on the venue) to obtain their wristbands and once you got those you were directed to a separate entrance as the fanclub got early entry into the venue. Once you were in the pit you can move about freely in and out of the pit but obviously you needed to keep the band on to get back in if you chose to leave. So, if a similar thing happens this time, if you and your friends have Gold Standing, you'll all be in the same area, but if you're in the fanclub and your friends are not, then they'll not be able to get a wristband and consequently not be able to take advantage of any privilidges the fanclub may offer. The other thing to bear in mind is whereabouts in the pit you are. If you're a bit further back or around the perimeter of it there's usually no problem in moving in & out pretty much as you like as had been my experience but if you're choosing to go right dowm the front and be on or near the barrier and you need to leave, don't bank on your spot being there when you get back. Hope this helps but feel free to PM if this hasn;t answered your :?: :?: Have a great time wherevert you end up!!!
PS - Don't forget, one valid membership card gets you one wristband this time round!! |
I am not a member of any BJ fanclub but I have a GOLD STANDING TICKET. Will I get a wristband and if so will it be given to me when I present my ticket at the Turnstile or wherever you happen to need to show the ticket?

A member of the Bon Jovi crew told us that the "pit" in the UK is gonna hold about 4000-5000 people. There are no fc arrangements YET but he said that they're working on it. But it might only be gold standing. The fanclub has to pay for the area in front of the stage if they want to reserve it for the fc members. And I guess they haven't because TM was selling tickets for it, but as said, this is completely unofficial.

And another thing, apart from, uhh, I think it was like the Milton Keynes gig in 1996 or so, the pit area in the UK has never been exclusively reserved for fan club members... So I don't see why the fan club would have had to pay for it in the past, and if the fan club will only allow people with Gold Tickets to enter the pit this year, I don't see any reason why they would have to pay for it now. :? God, this is getting more and more confusing every day... I REALLY wish the fan club would announce the UK fc arrangements soon and let us out of our misery! |
that would be the best news Jovian
