Lay Your Hands On Me

Is anyone missing this song from the setlists?? Its not a song I often listen to but I think it sounds great live, its gonna be weird this time going to a BJ show and it not being played.

true, LYHOM is a greta rocker live, ive been quite shocked that they have dropped it off seemingly completly.

That and OWN which I thought sounded great live too. :D

RichieW2001 06-05-2003 05:44 PM

never really liked the song in the first place but it's made quite good live with the drum and keyboard solo at the beginning.

they should open with it instead of bloody bounce

They're two best intro's to a song came from that song...

second best the way they opened in 1996, with the brass band, that was really origenal

best the classic, what a ****ing openeing, that really was the band standing up to the world and saying "beat that!'

(Tokyo road also rocked a hell of a lot from the 90's shows...)

Bring back Lay your hands...

I wouldn't mind if they were dropping it to make room for Homebound Train, or Let it Rock, or Fear... but when you look at a set with
Captain Crash
Joey
wrong side of right (or whatever the **** it is)
It's my Life
Just Older
Someday I'll be Saturday Night
ROckin All Over the World
Twist and Shout
e.t.c
e.t.c
e.t.c
I just can't believe songs like this are pushing Lay Your Hands out of the set... shocking!

I remember that intro from Maine Rd 96 and your right it was the best part of the show. It rocked big time!!!!

Yeah it was great in 1995 with the long intro and Tico and David jamming, but since the Crush Tour it has lost its touch. You could hear that they had played too often... it was way too slow to rock and much too lame. Because of that I don't really miss it. I miss Dry County and Hey God the most, One wild Night also.
