Ostend review :)
 

Hi everyone ... here is my review ...

I got up at 6.30 and was already excited as much as possible :) .... We've picked up our friend and drove to Ostend ... We got at the venue about 9.00AM ... Not much people their so we were at the gates ... The weather was absolutely terrible ... Rain, thunder, lightning ... Around 14.00h the sun came trough and it didn't rained anymore 8) I've met Mike and Let it rock and said short words to Laura and Taija (greeeeeaaaaat banner they had ... and it worked :) Thank you for that song :D :D Was absolutely amazing !!!! )
At 15.30 the gates opened for us ... A lot of pushing, running, .... and we got first row after the gates ... So first the pit for the fanclub, and then there were gates ... First row there ... So about 10m of the stage I think ... great view I must say :):)
At 17.45 Peter started. He is our Belgian idol (Go check him out ... He is a total rocker (long hair, ...) For me, he was great ... he song many good songs (mostly covers, cause he doesnt have CD yet, and his first single for you) ... It was great cause he also song Have a little faith in me and Rocking in the free world :) ... For me he was super :)
I didn't like Arid though ... Is a Belgian band but don't know their songs too well ... I've set down and listened ... They got small aplaus and even noooo 'we want more' ... Peter got that one well :)
Arid played for about an hour (stopped at 20.00).
Then it was waiting till BJ came up ... God I went crazyyyyyyyy !!!!!!! First Tico and David ... Then Richie came up with his guitar .... They started playing the intro ... Then Jon run on the stage ... people went mad :):):) Me included !!! :lol: Bounce is a great song to start with .... The show was great with some nice surpises again : In these arms, blood on blood, lay your hands on me, I'd die for you (thanks to Laura and Taija ... thanx girls ... really was a moment :) !!!! He even said ... this one is for you and pointed at them :) great or what??? hehe ...
After a lot of screaming they came back again (of course they did, and played about 30min long .... Everything was sooooo amazing ... Jon's voice was reeaaaaallly good,... Richie surely touched me with his version of I'll be there for you (God, I knew he was good but THIS good???????) Surely a highlight for me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... Around 11 PM the show was over ... really too early ... wish it could last forever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After the show I jumped over the gates to get in the pit and said hi to some of the Dry County-people again ... Was great to meet them ... And guys ... next time I'm IN the pit for sure !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you had a good time at the beach??? hehe :)
I've bought a T-shirt (the blue one with Bon Jovi - Bounce 2003) and a poster ... Already hanging in my room !!!!!!!!!!!!! :roll:
Too bad we didn't get Bed of roses or These days ... but for the rest ... it was absolutely perfect ...

Other details ... Again there were people on stage ... I was soooo jealous cause I could have been there (I've played with ALL the contests in Belgium !!!!!!!) Almost everyone got a hand from the band .... Soo amazing ... I think one of the girls really had her night !!! She had a banner (Damned it's my birthday ... Jon went to those people, shaked hands ... saw the banner ... grapped the girl her head and kissed her on the mounth ... I went craaaazyy and so did the girl !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also one guy seemed to get trough security and run on stage (followed by security ... really funny !!!! He runned from the one side to the other ...) The guys keeped on singing and laughed about it ... After the song Jon was saying to Richie ... Wasn't that your cousin?? yeah Ralph Sambora (hihi) I bet he is drinking out our beer now backstage ... We're gonna kick his ass after the show ... really funny hehe :D

So my point is : This was theeeeee night of my life !!!!!!!!!! Bon Jovi, thank for rocking that good :)

Because that's what they wanted to hear live more than any other song of the ones that had only a small chance of being played. Still, being front row and right in the view of the band for 3 shows previous earnt them that I guess, they recognised the commitment these girls had made to do that. :D

That's more an Oh my god, I'm so excited about everything - thing. I mean, get real and tell us the bad things too. And I'm sorry but I'm really tired about the smilies.

I can't say anything bad if their wasn't anything that I found bad ... By the way ... I said : Too bad they didn't play bed of roses or these days ... Did you think it wasn't good or something???
