Concerts abroad
Do any of you go to Bon Jovi concerts abroad sometimes? If you do, how do you arrange things, do you stay over for a week(end), how do you buy the tickets?
Please tell me all your experiences! Next year I want to try and go abroad too, like for example to Holland, England, Germany or Switzerland. |
ok
i did the other day with Mike a) didn't arrange it b) ate nothing c) no accomodation d) no sleeping bag or mattress - fortunately L&T are stars and helped me out experiences: show was superb - my conclusion... make sure you arrange accomodation way in advance and that you have someone to travel with, otherwise it's not worth doing (except for those 2-3 hours when the band are on the stage) |
I went to 6 abroad. I am writing up a diary, which I'll post when done - should give a taster of life on the road!!

tom is wrong, you dont necessarily have to have someone to go with. Touring can be fun on your own too. :D you will meet lots of people anyway ;) oh and finding accommodation is less of a hassle when you are on your own

it would have been depressing as hell if i had to wake myself up, discipline myself to get food etc, water at the right times in order to catch the train... and trust me Jana you wouldn't have wanted to have walked around Ostend at the time we were looking for accomodation.,.. and then sleeping on the streets by yourself |
yeh probably not.
but it's not like this is the usual case  |
on that you're right... i've just come back from the Nurse with cough medicine, paracetamol, and Nytol Herbal... rest, lots of fluids etc and see the doctor tomorrow to examine my chest...
nice  |
And that all to see Bon Jovi ... :) They should have played a song for you just to thank you ;)
