Can't say I'd want an acoustic show
I don't want to sound like a complainer or anything, but I have to say, I don't think I'd be as enthused about an acoustic set or half a set as some people seem to be.
I mean, when I pay $100 for a ticket, I want to see a full out rock and roll show, with heavy guitars, lights...everything. Granted, noone is better acoustically than Bon Jovi, but if they're going to perform an acoustic show, they should advertise it as such. Sorry, but NOTHING can compete with hearing Prayer the original way live. I've heard it both ways. There's no comparison. |
whatever suits you!
i for one was VERY happy with the show i got in kiel :D |
If I was there, I would have been a very happy girl.
I saw an acoustic show with Jon and it was awesome. Plus, the people at Kiel got the best of both worlds, half and half. 8) |
the show sounds great, amazing even
but i can think of many many better acoustic acts than bon jovi |

There may be better acts out there, but BJ is my favorite so I am a bit partial. |

don't know really. if it was my first show, i'd be gutted at it being acoustic but after a few, a bit of variation is good.

I'd love to see an acoustic show by Bon Jovi. I wouldn't want every show to be acoustic, but I'd love to seen just one (well maybe 2 or 3  ). I agree, nothing beats hearing songs like Prayer in thier original versions (and I'm talking way back in the 80's original), but hearing acoustic is cool too. I'd love to have been in Kiel. I need to get me a souped up Delorean and a friend named Doc and go back in time to see it.
