I do respect and value your opinion. I do think that whatever Jon or the band is thinking of in the 2000's is the same as he thought in the '80's , just older. (how lame of me) ;) i am sure has plenty of money to keep him happy and that isn't his primary motivation.. he probably made MORE in the 80's than now. I missed the part of BJTV where he was in the studio saying.."yeah...good guitar riff Richie, that's gonna make us a lot of cash..." I basically saw a man who's devoted to his craft the same way he was 15 years ago. The love of the art is what usually keeps an artist working over 15 years. |
i totally agree
BON JOVI changed. How could they not change? They are all over 40 now ,they are married and most of them have children. What do you want?To sing YOU GIVE LOVE A BAD NAME or BAD MEDICINE AGAIN ....or
"You're caught up in the danger zone Just 17 but you act full grown". This time is over!!! About the music,if you listen to BON JOVI or 7800 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT or a lot of tracks on the other albums you'll se there are a lot of heavy riffs(as heavy as Everyday and Undivided). When CRUSH came out everybody said it's too soft,to poppy. Now they make a heavy album and you say they sell out!!So what's your problem???THE LYRICS got better and the music has the same energy, power and melody that it always had.BON JOVI are great . UNDIVIDED sounds incredibly good and it has all chances too become a classic that everybody will remember 20 years after lie PRAYER,WANTED,BLAZE OF GLORY or ALWAYS!!! |
