Gold tickets a success?

just wondered, going into the HP concert, if the gold tickets have worked out well for those who went wolves and manchester. and if u were allowed in earlier or same time as every1 else...cheers!

Wolves it worked out brilliantly. Got in as Live were finishing, and managed to get a great spot (when you consider what time we got there) kind of infront of David, and not too far back. We could see brilliantly.

Manchester it worked out great for me, lots of different entrances, but getting down at 12 got a very good place! However if you were to do what I did at Wolverhamton then you'd be watching vid screans. The pit was huge, about half the pitch. So if you're planning on getting down late for HP and expecting Gold standing to work out, it will get a lot better than GA, but you'll be watching screans...... Especially as I'd expect HP will be a bigger pit than Manchester.

you should do ok then.... Yesterday 1ish would have got a good spot I'm sure, most people started to get down nearer 2-3 where we were. Still, if I'd have gotten down at say 4 I'd have still been within the first 20-30 rows, which is still very close!

Just depends on how many people get down to HP early.... Good luck!

I thought the gold standing was a joke, it was ****ing huge

Having been moved to gold seating because they had made the gold standing area bigger, therefore losing about 1000 normal standing spaces, there was a big gap of about 20 yards between General standing and gold standing. It was just a con to be honest, a money making scheme

u paid for gold standing but got seating???? that is insane..

It's the law.... Something like .9 of a square meter for everybody, so because they pushed forwards, there was a space made but the pit was at a capacity. They coudln't have done anything about that to be fair....

It was a con though. Gold standing was ment to give people a chance to be near the front, I don't call halfway back near the front!!!!!!!

The Gold Standing section at Ibrox was bloody huge and stunned me as I thought it would be half the size. There was a big gap at the back as people compacted a bit once the show got going. I would be a bit pissed off had I been front row of General Standing and seeing all that excess space.

Never mind as It mean't you could get a great view without being jostled or obstructed. I say next time they keep the GS but make the section a bit smaller
