Am I the only one?

To be under the impression that they will tour next year as well? I know that absolutely nothing has been said about this, but at least I think it would be strange if they didn't do a tour coinsiding with the release of the Box Set, their 20-year anniversary! I can only hope, and that's what keeps me going these days! :D

Bounce needs to start selling more if we are gonna get our box set. I don't know how many records they've sold to date, but I know we are a few million short of 100 million. They should tour next year, but they won't unless there's a reason, like a new album to promote or they decide to release the box set like you said.

I believe they will release the box set no matter if they hit the 100 million mark or not. But they're very close to that mark. The last figure I heard was 98 million. Bon Jovi CDs continually sale. Cross Road and SWW are in the Top Catalog CDs in the USA all the time. Hitting 100 million is not going to be hard for them to do prior to next year. I, for one, never believed the box set would come out this year anyway. It makes more sense for it to come out in 2004, marking the 20th anniversary of the band's entry on the music scene. They may have signed in 1983, but the first CD wasn't released until January 1984.

I just wanted to say I hate you siganture Becky and i hate all the philosophy Jon is doing.
Where is the rock 'n' Roll.
I want songs about FEAR and about GIRLS and about NOTHING !
No more It's My Lifes and Everydays and The Distances and all the others!

i know it hasn't anything to do with the topic but it's 1.09 am!

I think they will as well and I certainly hope they will....

Someone said in another post (cant remember who) that they have toured two years in a row for the past few tours...like Crush was in 2000 and then OWN in 2001 and I think it was Crossroads followed by These Days.

Then by all means, let me change it.

Newsflash--he's been conveying the same attitude since the beginning of his career. His philosophy is what has propelled his (and therefore the band's) career. It's what's made his rock and roll last so long.

I figure if they don't hit 100 million before the acoustic cd is released, they certainly will AFTER it is!!! Either way, 98 million is still a damned good reason to be proud!!! Not too many artists can claim that kind of accomplishment!

News archives--Jon's philosophy on NJ tour.... "I woke up this morning and I said to myself, what a great ****ing day for rock and roll"

wild4jon 07-03-2003 03:50 AM

I think the next tour will be 2006. Wirh Richie releasing a solo album with a tour to promote, then they go back in the studio mid 2005, tour 2006. Just my thought.
