Was Hyde Park there biggest Ever Show?
Hello
Just wondered if the Hyde Park show was one of there biggest shows ever? anybody know, 92,000 people was a big crowd alright! thanks Supes |
I think, and I may stand corrected here, but they played to over 100,000 in Times Square and something like 120,000 in India in or around 1995. I'm sure someone can add to this or correct me if I'm wrong.

They did Rock in Rio which is 250,000 people, don't know if they sold it out though. Also there were lodes of people at the Moscow peace festival, don't know exactly how many though.

This is a question i asked the Oompas, but they didn't answer.
I don't think Times Square should count, because it wasn't a proper Bon jovi only concert. |
I recon Times Square must be the biggest ever......i was there and i heard that there was over 500 thousand there! AMAZING or what!

security guard(s) told us at hyde park, that it wasnt 92,000 as jon said. That was a mid-afternoon figure and by the time bon jovi had hit the stage, that the amount of fans who had crammed in, was actually 120,000! So Hyde Park, was certainly one of the top 3 or 4 gigs the band have every played.

bigger gigs i'm sure
how many at rio, chile 1990 ? |
Yeah supposedly there were over 500,000 at Times Square. Although it seemed like more when you were stuck in the middle of it. :?
