Another solo album from Richie?
I know, I know Bounce has only been released fairly recently but anyone think there's a chance of another Sambora solo in the future?
SITT and US were great, at the same time being totally different [I preferred SITT]. Richie is such a talented man, and I personally think his vocals deserve more of an airing [no offense to Jon. Actually, on OWN it is Richie's voice you hear more than Jon's. Richie has a much more powerful voice; they do harmonies together beautifully.] At Hyde Park [28/06/03] Jon disappeared off stage and said Richie would sing a song... he sang I'll Be There For YOu which was fine, but it's Jon's song and I'd kinda been hoping for Rosie or something of a similar vein. Oh well, we live in hope.. By the way who said the remix of OWN on the album was crap? It's the best bloody song!!!!! |
hopefully but another couple of years away i think.

I posted an interview some time back that Richie gave in Scotland or Ireland during the tour and there he said that he would love to make another solo-album but there's another BJ-album to record first.
So it will need a few more years until we get a new solo-album I guess. |
yeah bit surpising cos i was expecting the band to have a break once the box set is over....maybe its a blessing cos richie was thinking of releasing a greatest hits....which i think was way too early...

in the shows I saw the best vocal peformance was given by Richie.... however I don't think it was down to ability, just drive, passion e.t.c...
Jon could still be a better vocalist, just doesn't put as much into it as Richie does.... At least that's what my two shows were like, I know from past experiances that Jon can and still does sometimes really go for it, unfortunatly he doesn't do it every time he's on stage like Richie seems to |
Richie will do another solo album. Don't know when, but he will do.
If/ when Bon Jovi call it a day, I'm sure Richie will still carry on touring and recording. |
