qustion about 'an evening with Bj...'
 

Hi guys, I have a question for you:
in the videocassette 'an evening with Bj' (the acoustic concert, you remeber?) before never say goodbye, Jon tells a story about the days during that he and Richie wrote this song...he tells one day he went at Richie's mum house and...something happened...maybe he found Richie in a strange situation...but I've never understood the meaning of Jon's words.
Anybody helps me?Can you write in simple English what happens that day?

Doesn't it go something like this:

Jon - I would go over to Richie's house over on the dead end of Harriet Street, the air con would be turned up to 10, the stereo on a constant repeat, and you never who or what was gonna be in the room with him"!

Richie "You nasty thing you, sorry Mom"!

Jon - "Hahaha, the truth can be told.. anyway, I guess you'll all hear about it later".

Like alumiumm foil all over the window, airconditioning up to 10 even in february stereo on like a constant repeat. And when I opened that door he never knew who or what was gonna be in that room with him.
