Just had bad news....
 

Just wanted to share.. I just found out that my sister's best friend's son has an inoperable brain tumor. He's only 5 years old, he had his birthday about a month ago. I've known him since he was born and this is just devasting. He is the sweetest, kindest little boy you could ever meet. It just shows again the injustice in this world.

oh, i'm sorry tash.

my friends brother was in a car crash and has been in a coma since january and he was such a nice lad. you always wish it was somebody else but i suppose that's just how life goes sometimes.

really really sorry to hear that, tash. that is awful :(
our neighbour's daughter died when she was 7. she had someone else's heart already, but it didnt help and one day when she was playing she couldn' breathe anymore and died :cry:

i'm sorry Tash, i know too much how life is unfair, and when a children is concerned it's worst again ... there's nothing to say, they need friends around them ..... don't forget this, even if it's hard.

does anyone else think that nothing good happends anymore?

No - good things do happen - It's just that when you hear something like this, especially about a kid, it gets to you.
The parents have to be devastated. It's very bad news Tash - sorry.

Its really crap isnt it! My sister has cancer and i just think its unfair that all these horrible things happen to people who dont deserve it!

Thank you all! It is difficult because he is so young and that I know him. I guess it's always difficult to hear when children die, but the fact that he only has a week to live, just blows my mind. The last time I saw him he was a lively 5 year old whose face I painted as a tiger.. that's what's hard.
