Interesting Fact
I was reading an old article released at the time of Crossroad that Keep the Faith was supposed to be a double cd. The reason why the plan didn't succeed was that it nearly killed them. I knew that New Jersey was to be a double but was knocked back, but to hear the Keep The Faith was to be a double cd is very interesting.
Did you all know this? |
yep i heard about that .. but i thought the record company didnt it want it to be a double because of the costs

There is a version out there that has a live cd as cd2. click the following link to see all the different versions of the album...you will be very suprised! http://www.fsinet.or.jp/~a-ito/bj5th.htm |
but those are bonus albums like most other had to push up the sales. I think he ment a complety second studio cd.

I think they're confusing it with NJ. There wasn't any talk at the time of KTF being a double CD. Bon Jovi had blipped off the radar in 1991, dance and country were popular, and people didn't think that KTF would make an impact, much less KTF as a double CD which would cost more.

Tico said that they had planned to write 40 songs for KTF but it nearly killed them. Someday I'll... was intended for KTF but was used on Crosssroad instead. The idea for the double album for New Jersay was knocked back due to the record company and for KTF was dropped by BJ themselves.

Are you sure about Someday...? I was told/heard that It was intended for These days but held back

I agree with Becky, the "nearly killed them" quote was definately from the NJ era not KTF.
