with the box set coming out soon(?!?) is anybody else excited by the possible contents. A lot of the b-sides are better than album tracks, but on top of that Jon was against Prayer going on Slippery and also had no intention of releasing Always(until one of his friends heard it and persuaded him it could be a hit). Given Jon has the final say on what goes on the albums(he admitted as much himself) is anyone else excited about what hidden gems might show up?

Let's just get this over with now. You're new to this board. To spare you the confusion when a number of posts come up with nothing but negative predictions and premature complaints, let's get started:

The box set sucks. There aren't enough CDs
The box set sucks. There are too many CDs and it costs too much.
The box set sucks. There aren't enough DVDs included.
The box set sucks. I hate the title.
The box set sucks. I hate the packaging.
The box set sucks. I have some of these songs on a bootleg disk.
The box set sucks. I paid money for these imports/b-sides already.
The box set sucks. Jon can't sing.
The box set sucks. It's a ripoff - they didn't include (fill in the blanks.)
The box set sucks. What took them so long? It was slated for 03 release.
The box set sucks. I claim to be a big BJ fan but I do nothing but complain.

Now, if you go to some other message boards, you'll get a larger number of people excited about the project (though, you'll get a lot of people interested on whether or not a photo of Jon with or without a shirt will be included in the packaging.) Welcome to www.drycounty.com

A lot of the b-sides are less crap than album tracks, but on top of that Jon, that bullying bastard, was against Prayer going on Slippery(back when the band were bearable) and also had no intention of releasing noise pollution like Always(until one of his friends heard it and persuaded him it could be a hit). Given Jon, the ruthless autocrat, has the final say on what goes on the albums(he admitted as much himself, and that he horsewhips Richie whenever he is contradicted) is anyone else looking forward to complaining about the train wreck that will be the box set.:-)

LOL! Gotta laugh at that one. Really, I'm looking forward to the box set. Contrary to what Derek said, there are hopeful people on this board.
