calling all Spanish people - PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I’m looking into going to the Rock Festival in Murcia. What I want to know is, how good and cheap is public transport in Spain?

Price wise it’s probably going to be too much, and too awkward to get a plain from England straight there, so I was thinking from Valencia, Granada, Alicante, or Almeria as closish cities... maybe even if possible (as I’m guessing it’s the biggest airport, from Madrid)....

Coach, train, whichever’s cheapest, but I have no idea, and all the websites are in Spanish (surprise surprise :))

Any help will be much appreciated.

(if you are Spanish you should find out about the festival, Scorpions and Vai (with Billy Sheehan on bass), two of the best live bands around)

In Spain, I suppose you won´t have problems with money, life is cheaper than in England. You have some options.

1. fly to madrid and then fly/train to....

- Valencia (and train to murcia, i don´t recommend you bus) 3:30 hours 25 €
- Almeria (NO TRAIN. I don´t recommend bus. 3 hours, uncomfortable )
- Granada (No TRAIN. " " " " " " ")

2.RECOMMENDED: fly to madrid and train to Murcia (4:30 hours in train)-train price: 35 € -

3. Fly to valencia directly and train to murcia

If you need more help (madrid underground information or other things, say to me)
