No more e-mail in France!!

The French Ministry of Culture is banning the use of the word "E-mail" because it sounds too American and mandating the use of the word "courriel" (courier + electronique) because it is more French.

Hehehe..I thought that was funny, if it is true that is.

no imel anymore ?
they are so stupid, they tried to do the same thing with different words before
and they want to teach english to the young kids at school !?! maybe they have to decide if they want english langage or not in france,
Imagine : "dear students, today we are going to learn a few english words, but don't use it if you're not at school !!! our misnistry won't like it !!!"
now maybe we have to call a sandwich something else and don't talk about base-ball anymore ..... :? :?

rock on France

America will only end up stealing the word for themselves one day just like they have with various wines (that bear the names of French regions!)

Let me tell you, we still use the term French fry. That was the media's attempt to create something out of nothing. Not once have I been to a restaurant and saw the word "freedom fry." :P
