"These Days"

:D :D

I just wanted to share this with you.

I truly love "These Days". For me, it is just a brilliant album. The combination of arrangements, vocals, harmonies and more creates an amazing atmosphere.

Yesterday - after not having done so for the longest time - I listened to "These Days" on headphones and it was incredible. I love listening to an album that closely because you always pick up something that you may not have noticed before. Some of the string arrangements and background vocals on this album are simply near perfect.

I think today I will do the same again with "These Days" and perhaps "Keep The Faith" and/or "Bounce". One album I highly recommend listening to via headphones is "Stranger In This Town". That man is so incredibly talented and I never tire of listening to his playing.

Have a good day.

:D :D

I just did that last night. And of course I lit a candle. You really get the full effect of Stranger with the candle.

You tend to hear more too, Hearts Breaking Even (I think) I remember hearing some backing vocals I had never noticed before.

Actually its If That's What It Takes.....have a close listen on a discman, at Richie's backing.....you hear it very clearly around the chorus, and I dont think you would even notice it on a normal stereo.

its my 3rd fave album of all time. It should get played more here, but i never get around to it. Crush and Bounce take too much priority over it. But yeah a fantastic album, This aint a love song, All i want is everything and daimond ring are my fave tracks

Listening to anything via headphones makes it better. I watched a wrestling event with headphones once and it was ten times more enjoyable.

Best song for headphones: Ballad of Youth. :D

Aloha !

You should all buy good speakers. If you hear more by headphones it's because :

A) There's a lot of other noise around you.
B) Your speakers are half as good as the ones from your headphones.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
