another Jersey-Rocker is going on Tour. Southside Johnny. Some of you may know him from 2001 where he was support act in Germany for BJ or you know the duet he recorded with Jon in the late 80s.

If he's doing an accoustic show anywhere its well worth getting to if you can. The normal rock show is great, but accoustic is really different....

Southside is the type of band who do what Bon Jovi say they do... i.e different setlists everynight, don't stick to the sets one bit... Southside says he tries to keep the band on their toes by throwing things in, and he genuenly does, it's not just a front to try and make him look good!

Ive seen Southside on The Old Grey Whistle Test, he did have a good voice, it was weird as I could see that Jon had picked up some of Southsides moves.

I didnt know southside and Jon did a duet , what was it called please?

The duet is called "Working too hard" and is on SSJ's album "Better days". When SSJ was support for BJ Jon joined him on stage a few times for this song (and a few others). I love the song, it really rocks.

I havent heard it, I shall have a good look around and see if i can get hold of it. I shall let you know what I think. Thanks for the info.

i'd love to see SSJ again but i have a tutorial the morning after the Manchester show 180 miles down south

might still try and make it though :)

and so long as i can get back to college for about 10 am i'll be fine

but will have to look into trains and prices
