Bon Jovi - Live From London £14.99 Due for release on 15/09/2003 Review Bon Jovi filmed at Wembley Stadium, June 1995, in front of 72,000 fans! Tracks: 'Livin' On A Prayer', 'You Give Love A Bad Name', 'Wild In The Streets', 'Keep The Faith', 'Blood On Blood', 'Always', 'I'll Be There For You', 'Blaze Of Glory', 'Runaway', 'Dry County', 'Lay Your Hands On Me', 'Bad Medicine', 'Bed Of Roses', 'Hey God', 'Rockin' All Over The World', 'Wanted Dead Or Alive', 'Someday I'll Be Saturday Night' and 'This Ain't A Love Song'. Technical Details Certificate Exempt from Classification Year 1995 Screen Fullscreen 4:3 Languages English Duration 1 hour and 30 minutes (approx) Now it lists pretty much the full setlist, but in my version it has I'd Die For You in place of I'll Be There For You, and this version has I'll Sleep When I'm Dead/Papa Was A Rollin' Stone, I Don't Like Mondays, These Days and Stranger In This Town missing. Also, it has a running time listed as 1:30, which seems way too short. Here's hoping for the full show anyway, and if it has the video of Dry County on it, that will be fantastic. |
I've seen this ad before.... somehow it never quite worked out

Is what you have the video? Because I know they already released the DVD and it was exactly the same as the video. Perhaps play.com were late getting the DVD?

I'll probably get it no matter what, because the sound and picture must be better than my video, which has been played time and time again. |
I asked the oompas about it, so hopefully they will reply soon.
|
Yeah, I'll be getting that!
|
sorry, just sum it up for me
is it different from the vid? |

In 1995 they released two concerts from Wembley on VHS. The 3rd night (June 25th 1995) is the one we all know and has been available as a DVD all the time.
There was also a limited edition VHS released in UK, which showed the first or second night. I'm not sure which. I have the first few songs from the 1st night (June 23rd 1995) in mpg format because it was broadcast on TV. If I remember correctly this limited edition VHS had the whole concert. The cover looked exactly like the regular Wembley VHS but it had more songs listed and was from a different night. I'll try to find a pic of the cover to give you a better idea. Perhaps they decided to release it as a DVD now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is the case. |
