Aliens and Roswell
 

What with the conspiracies that we've been talking about lately, I was wondering what everyone thought of the alien crash in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. Did it happen? Are aliens amongst us? Is the truth out there?

the truth's right here, my mum has to be an alien. it isn't human to be able to change moods that quickly.

Well I think it would be arrogant and very naive to think we are the only intelligent lifeform in the galaxy/universe.

I believe that something did happen up at Rosweel in 47, and there was a huge cover-up, but it would be more than stupid to keep anything there now. What people see in the skies near the base is probably some military spy planes, just flown to keep public interest.

Area 51 is where the alien craft and bodies supposedly are now, but I think it is just there for the tourists. If people believe that something is there, they won't bother looking anywhere else.


In terms of aliens, I do not believe that the visitors our planet receives are in fact aliens. I think that they are human, evolved perhaps by several thousand years, and they have invented a form of time-travel.

I don't see how else a species could evolve on another world, and yet evolve to have 2 arms, 2 legs, a head, eys...etc. All sightnings are usually of humanoid creatures, so I see there being not many more possibilities.

Many people believe that we can't be alone, because of the vastness of space, and the millions of other habitable planets out there...but our appearence on earth happened through an amazingly slim chance, so there isn't much chance it could happen somewhere else....let alone it could happen so that they look so similar to us.

i come from the school of thought that if it isn't scientifically proven, it, it doesn't exist, so no, i don't think this is true.

conspiracy theorists will bring out new theories until the cows come home but at the end of the day, all they are is conspiracies. strange how none of these are ever backed up by scientific proof isn't it?

if you read the post, i didn't at any point say things of which i have had first hand experience, otherwise i wouldn't believe in every disease in the world.

Yeah, but how do you know for sure that it's there? Just because some scientist says it is, you believe them?

Alien conspiracies are not proven because the government doesn't want to cause a public hysteria. Can you imagine how everyone would react if it was revealed officially by the government that aliens exist and that they abduct us? That's why there is no "proof", because people aren't inteligent enough to comprehend it.

oh come on, we all know how stuff is leaked. you're telling me that the 'evidence' has been kept under wraps for the past half a century without anything ever being revealed.

and how do i know it's there? because i can see it. you'll be telling me 6 billion people are wrong next.
