Taking the p*ss out of the French

Did you know France has the most road accidents in the civilised world. I was watching Jeremy Clarkson driving through France on TV, they have motorbikes driving on pavements, people park in bus lanes and anywhere else they can, and also they have this massive rounabout near the arc d triumph or however is spelt. They have 15 lanes of traffic, no roadmarkings, and just havoc and chaos. How do the French cope with roads and drivers like that?????

But I must admit, it looks like there are loads of absolutely stunning women over there. Although, I think when I go over, I will travel by train there.

good luck with the rains is all i can say......

you'll be OK when you get there but getting a train in this country that is on time will be a struggle.

the topic talks about taking the piss out of the french. are we just hurling random insults their way?

****ing frogs.

Driving in France isn't that bad!! I drove back from the South of France to Holland and the drivers seemed fine to me. I think the worst drivers are definitely from Belgium and Malta!

if you drive in Paris, near the Arc

you're asking for trouble

Tashjbj 07-30-2003 11:26 PM

Same as in every big city. London is hell to drive through too.

Same goes for London, I drove in Paris and it was hell, but I don't think London or Amsterdam is a picnic either!
