nice very cultured looking. i live right on the outskirt of glasgow (hills on one side, city on the other) but cos it's pretty much in the clyde valley u can't really get many good looking photos of it, just looks like an urban jungle cos ur looking dwn at it more tho u do get some really nice views just up the main road to east kilbride here at night and when the suns setting. need to take some pictures soon but ive been wanting to do that for our album cover anyways.
was in a shop the other day with lots of pictures of new york and its skyline and the more and more i see of the place the more i like it. my girlfriend little sister just came back from holiday there with pictures and it looks really beautiful to say the least. definetely a place i intend to see or live in at one point in time. |
wierd things pictures. bring back alot of memories even if they're not personal ones.
been looking for some ones of glasgow that i could show u all and found a dude who'd photographed parts of glasgow in winter a few years back and he has trees n stuff lying on the ground and a caption saying "apparently the weather was fierce the day before i came here" was talking about just after Christmas a few years ago there was terrible storms. a guy across the road from me nearly got killed when a tree got blown over n crashed through his house. kinda funny how something someone else has done can remind u of things u know. here's one i came across that dare devils might be interested in: http://www.clydeweb.co.uk/gallery1.htm this is the granary just outside the city centre of glasgow. used to make bread or something there but now they just store new cars under it before they goto show rooms. it;s the biggest all brick building in europe. think it;s about 250-300 odd feet high and i abseiled off it a few years back for the british heart foundation. the pituce doesnt do it justice because we had to abseil off the opposite end down onto the clydeside that adds a good bit of height to the drop from the side the photos been taken from. found some cool pictures if anyone else is interested in seeing the little place i call home. i find them kinda cool but its probably just because i know most of the places im seeing. |
