Is God dead?

What do you think?

I still pray but i don`t know if he is listening.

Davesta 08-13-2003 12:34 AM

I don't think he existed in the first place!

jess 08-13-2003 12:35 AM

dead ? I don't think someone who's never existed could be dead .....

Thomas Anderson 08-13-2003 12:36 AM

Gonna go with what Davesta and Jess said.

Freddie 08-13-2003 12:47 AM

depends on yr belief... i dont mean thru religion but the faith inside yr heart and soul..only then do u can u answer that question...

God exists metaphorically. God's not going to be moving mountains or handing out wrath anytime soon but he/she or whatever it may be does exist as long as someone believes.

Tashjbj 08-13-2003 11:22 AM

I don't believe in God, but I do believe in a higher power.

It's a bit of weird question. I'm a Christian and I believe in God, but you can't say he's dead, and you kind of can't say he's alive. But I'm going to say yes anyway, he's alive in spirit.

letitrock 08-13-2003 11:35 AM

last time i checked she was still alive yeh :) and as for the other God... well Glenn Hughes is very-much alive, so no God is not dead

on the serious side of things does anyone else get angered by the way god or Christ are actually portrayed in depicted images and iconography as old and wise men (moreso god) with grey hair and beard

if he's so wise, eternal and immortal why has he aged so much!! lol
