we can see it here but only on really really really clear nights with no cloud cover whatsoever.

Unfortunately it was so foggy here last night that no sky was visible at all. There might be a few meteor showers tonight so I'm hoping for clear skies.

You can see Mars in southeastern sky around 11pm (CET summertime).
You can't miss it, really, it's the brightest object in the night sky...
