Ballad of Youth 08-13-2003 03:17 PM

Good luck guys.

BTW, what kind of questions do they ask you in a General Studies exam? We all have to take it next year in college but I have no f###ing idea what it is!

The words "unhelpful" and "tw@t" spring to mind!

Goodluck all!

Im having a year out anyway so, my results arent as important as most, lol.

Where are you people going next year uni-wise?

Thomas Anderson 08-13-2003 08:56 PM

General Studies makes you do stupid lessons a few times a week, and then sit exams which have nothing to do with the work you did. The exams are very oppinionated, covering politics and topics like Fox Hunting and religion, and basically anything that people can have strong views on.

They judge you on how many points you make, not what your opinion is.

Anyway, good luck to others who will be getting their results tommorow.

kinda sad really but hey.
my bf got a letter with his results sayin how he came top-5 in the country on his general studies a level (he got full marks last year an dropped 6 this year, tut tut). he said he had to write about bridges.
