more RC disgrace

k i know it may come across that i'm very anti catholic and all but i just think they have way too much power (as most religions do) and they happen to be one of the seediest.

its just come ont he news here that a doctorate from decades ago coming from the vatican has been found.

basically this was sent to every chapel, priest, etc... int he world back in the 60s or 70s telling them instructions on how to cover up any cases of them sexually abusing children and animals.

now call me a cynic but there's definetely something wrong when the people at the very top are telling their disciples so to speak, to cover up disgusting cases of sexual abuse.

As an ex-catholic (I married outside the church) I couldn't agree more. Talk about hypocrites - geeze.

what i find amazing is the amount of people who put total blind faith int he church (any church not just the RC church) considering the amount of this shit that goes on.

So true ! I hate these people. It's not being anticatholic, it's just you're not blind or hypocrite.

Reading this makes me ashamed to have been christened a Catholic. If my grandparents had there way i would have gone to Catholic Schools and to church every week. I dont agree with a lot of the practices, they really need to get into the 21st Century.

You know, my son will start in a catholic school in september, i had no choice, but it's pretty 'free'. I don't like this at all, but it's all we have found ..... i hope it will be ok, or i'll have to change him of school during the year. I said it was ok to teach him catechism (it's an obligation, but only the basis, i'll consider it as a general thing to know in life  ) but he won't be in the choir, he won't go to Mass. I have my word to say hopefully ... we'll see, but i really don't like these people !!!!!

You'll be starving by the time that you go to lunch... that is not good! I never understand people who make lunchtime appointments... :?
