Infamy, infamy they've all got it in for me
i do not believe this.
k so since i decided that music biz promotoin wasn't much of a qualification and that i should get a real course in January i've been sitting worrying incase i didnt like accountancy or that i'd forgotten how to do it etc... so i get in to my 1st day today and its really good and im thinking im going to enjoy this. the plan was 2 years at college then into 3rd year of uni with only 1 or 2 years left before i graduate, it';s all good. UNTILLLLLL glasgow uni decided to turn crazy with their entry criteria and now doing 2 years at college and getting 50% merits over the 2 years gets me into 1st year. i cannot ****ing believe that after all that worrying then getting used to the idea im now looking at 10 years and nearly another £20,000 ($30,000) of debt in addition to the £60,000 i've already racked up before ii'd be qualified as a chartered accountant. phoning the college and uni tomorrow to see wot the deal is and if theres any chance of sorting something out or just going into 1st year of a uni just now and if nnot im going to get a job and put a deposit down on a flat with me loan ive got just now. |
 i thought i'd at least get some sympathy, ah well i don't like any of u anyways :D
ps i meant 6 grand not 60. i definetely wouldnt be in college just now if i had 60 g's lying around |
I wasn't online yesterday, so I'm exempted!!
That is a pain.. but on the bright side you will be more mature (not that you aren't now..) and more focussed. I do think it's bad that they hadn't told you and maybe you can go by the previous law.. But if this is what you want to do it shouldn't matter how long it takes, although the money issue is a pain.. Good luck!! Keep us posted. Tash |
It comes to something eh Jim, where bacon is more important than your career!
This isn't sympathy btw! |
can you get a job as a junior at a company and put your self though night school my mate did and hes erning a fortune
|
that hurt davey. beer, football, george foreman grilled stuff is more important than my life BUT BACON?
anyways i phoned some places today and i'm now going to paisley uni to do it. 3 years then might go to glasgow to do my honours degree. Advantages: get another month of holiday better than going to college then uni might be able to get more money off of the student loan people my college is right next to sighthill and theres was tonnes of refugees in my class. not a bad thing itself but when they can hardly talk and need to ask everything twice it doesn't make learning easy or fun disadvantages: further away David Sneddon is from paisley :s |
