I need to have a vege detox day, any suggestions?
Been at the seaside the last few days, I didn't miss any of you, except Mongoose, and thats because he stepped out of sight of my shotgun just in time! :D
Anyway, as you would expect from a trip to the seaside, i've eaten a load of crap, and am now feling highly un - nutritionalised! I need some vits! So suggestions for healthy tasty meals here please! (For my fans who like the junkie food threads, don't worry, they'll be back! I'm compiling a mentalist* as we speak!) * Mental List. |
Hmph..well buy some fruit for a snack. Cut up some raw vegetables and buy some fat free sour cream, combine with onion soup mix and you have a tasty low fat dip. :)
Grilled Chicken with rice is tasty. I prefer yellow Spanish rice myself. Little olive oil on a chicken leg with some Sazon seasoning, cook it up and mmmmm. Steamed Chinese Food is an option if you don't feel like cooking. Steamed shrimp with scallops...mmmmm. Spaghetti with garlic and oil is also not bad. All I can think of for now. |
don't eat for a day and drink lots of water, thats wot i'd do if i ever had the urge to get all the crap i put in my body out.
luckilly i doubt that will ever transpire and am currently losing weight without even trying just because i'm eating less :D |
About 4 years ago I went on a school trip to North Wales for 4 days, and as I'm fussy about what I eat, I ate virtually nothing, except crisps and chocolate. We did a load of walking, as it was a Geography trip and we were looking at different geological features, and during those 4 days I lost a stone in weight.
I am thinking about making it into one of these silly new diets: "The Thomas Anderson Diet: Don't eat anything but snackfood for a week, and get loads of excercise." |
i think dr atkins beat u with the eat alot of crap as long as theres no calories in it idea, thomas.

all u'll be doing is burning the crap that u eat but and putting sugar in ur body.
my mate whos trying to go pro at football goes jogging, training and to the gym everyday. in addition to this he drins this stupid weight gain stuff (think the opposite of slim fast cept its £40 a tub) to build more muscle but all it's doing is adding fat and making it harder for him to work off or into something. added to the fact that he eats like a pig and he could run a marathon every day and it wouldnt make a difference. i on the other hand eat and drink crap but with a bit more moderation and goto the gym and am pretty much in the same shape as him. |
Dont eat anything and just drink cranberry juice. That will clear out the system.

drink hot water with lemon-every time you need a drink. if you don't like eating fruit and veg raw- make lots of smoothies!!!!- they're great. oh and carrotts are a great way to flush out the system. remember- NO CAFFINE!!!!
