Dear Oompas, is there a chance that those people like [we're going to delete all the specific banned user names you listed - why would we give these individuals any more attention than they deserve?] and the people that registered under those Fake BJINFOHQ names, got blocked out from a future messageboard and what can you do if they will cause trouble again on the new Messageboard ? The new message boards will be up probably late September and all measures will be taken to ensure that the people who ruined the online experience for other mature Bon Jovi fans, and those who would look to do it again, won't be welcome and won't have the latitude to post the sort of garbage they inflicted upon the users at the former message board. This is an official site. The message board should reflect the band and their fans in the best light.

thanks for the info, hope people dont spoil it for us all, just cos they think they are better and more opinionated than the rest of us who manage to use the boards as intended. :roll:

Yeah we know some people ruined that online experience on bonjovi.com, but what exactly happened ?

There were about 3 people who just kept spamming the site with profanity. Someone must have hacked it, because there were multiple posts of the same thing over and over. It was crazy and the mods couldn't keep up with it all. So they just shut it down. They were going to revamp them anyway, but are keeping them closed for longer than they had planned.

is it just me or does this site (peters bored) look like a million times better? and its not like jovi dont have the funding...

IMO, this is the most user-friendly messageboard. 8)

i agree, backstage is ok but feel like i have to watch my p's and q's toooo much, here seems a bit more 'normal' :lol:

BJ.com has been shutting down on and of for years, sometimes its shut for mths. They havent managed to ever work out how to ban the idiots completely so how do they intend to do it now?

I still can see people from yrs ago that got boards shut down still trolling around Backstage + Bj.com.I dont reckon they can get rid of these prats.

We ban people on our boards, there is always a way for them to continually get round it if they want to be persistent, so we have to just keep rebanning them .

OOOOOOOOH BJ.com is an official board, really and I thought that was Backstage :wink:
