Your opinions please after season 2

1. Is palmer dead ( series 3 has been confirmed as being 3 years in the future )

2. Should Kim go the journey, how unlucky is one girl!!! kidnapped series 1, stuck with physco father, trapped with cougar, nutty survivalist series 2, no point in her being there, OR will she be training for CTU seeing as she shot Gary at the end of season 2

3. How many times will Jack Bauer say the words I REPEAT in series 3.??

In my opinion the first series of 24 was one of the best shows I have ever seen. The format was ground breaking, characters were superb and the plot was epic. I loved every minute of it

However I think they really should have left it there. Series 2 went too far. It was nothing new, had all been done in series 1. and as for series 3, it is going to feature David Palmers brother, Wayne Palmer! Need I say any more.

A great series, but just cashing in now.

To be honest a friend in America told me how the whole series panned out and it didn't make any difference to the show, it was still brilliant, the stuff i posted anyway was just what happens in general, there are loads of twists and turns bigger then what i put on the thread.

Nonetheless, i am very sorry!!!!! :(

I'm just really proud of myself that I didn't know what was going to happen in season 1 and that it was all a surprise.. this from the person who ALWAYS reads the last page of a book just after I started!!

Well, season 2 is still a surprise as I have no idea what you were on about.. and I'll let you know the answers.. which might be in about 10 months! :lol:

I don't know how they're going to top season 2 this year. Last year, Jack was dead for 10 minutes, they detonated a NUCLEAR bomb on American soil, and the president was assasinated. How can they go more dramatic than that? :shock: I've got a theory that this year will be much more personal for Jack. Some major threat to his family that he will have to deal with, but still working in some sort of terrorism threat. Those guys on the houseboats are done yet...

Anyone agree they can't top last year? Or that this year will be much more personal of Jack?

How could they top what happened? If they try it will seem even more over the top ya know? I was on the edge of my seat this past year, but I will say it got almost too complicated! Not saying that I couldnt follow along just had to remember too much, like who was related to who and so on.
This is the BEST show! I hope it stays on for a long time!

i think this is on par with the x-files, not in topic but the way the show is catching on and its was 10 years this year when the x-files exploded into most peoples lives. 24 is following the same pattern

the first series was cult, the second was cult until more and more people got in on the show so the third one will be a massive hit with a possible move to bbc1 like they did with the x-files series 3.

I think there are two plotlines to go down

1. Palmer is dead and Jack Bauer has a totally different case, maybe biological terrorism

2. plamer is alive and due to be re-elected and bauer is assigned to protect him from assasination ( this would be series 1 plotline all over again.

Kim Bauer should definetly go!!!!!!! UNLESS she is in police / fbi training to get into CTU, i think this is feasible because her character became more agressive towards the end of the show.
