Band Introductions at End of Show

Hope you don't mind me stealing my own post from over at Backstage and posting it here:

I'm listening to this one version of shout and just had to share the introductions of the band. This just got me so hyped up thinking about all of the concerts I've been to this year.

David:

"on keyboards, on the piano, on the organ, weighing in at 157 pounds of pure muscle, six foot two inches tall, Mr David Bryan on the keyboards"

Tico:

"It's the man that Castro fears the most. If we sent him in there, he would defeat the entire communist regime in one fell swoop. The man back here on the drums should be America's one and only lethal weapon. Ladies and Gentleman, on the drums, Mr Hector Samuel Juan Torres....Tico Torres on the drums!"

Richie:

"The one that makes the girls' hearts break, makes their boyfriends boots quake, makes the American Express company very happy for taking in his money. The man's a gun slinger on the six string. Will you please help me in welcoming the king of swing, Mr Richie Sambora on the guitar!"

Hearing this version of shout--about 8 minutes long--just brought every emotion back from all of the concerts I saw this year--it's breathtaking!! And to think I didn't want to hear shout at the concerts anymore! Shame on me!

 Can you share with everyone key points of other introductions you've heard across the years?

I could just listen to the intros over and over again!

I don't remember the whole thing, but on Richie's birthday Jon said something about Richie being a lady killer and Richie just gave Jon this look like "are you kidding?"

Hope this helps.

I wonder if Jon thinks be4 what hes gonna say about them or just says whatever comes into his head. I was impressed that he managed to do all different intros for the UK shows, at least i think they were all different.

I don't think he'd have introduced Hugh as the mud on his shoes if he'd thought about it
