I have said this to RichieW2001 a million times, but the forwards at everton are never gonna get as many goals as they could do if they had a decent midfield. Our midfield at the mo, is filled with mediocre plays and a world class midfielder/playmaker would give us that advantage that all the big clubs have. Thats why the likes of man u, arsenal, chelsea score so many goals...their midfield is excellent and can provide ammunition for the forwards. Its something that at goodison, we lack. Gutted Macca joined city when he has been a blues fan since he was a kid.
