collection, is it worth the fight?

right now, everybody can prospect on the web, and having a real cool disc for collection is rare. the last one is the target cd, but I don't think I bought a real cool object for my collection since... These Days, the album + karaoke from Japan. this one is a milestone. I have more than 200 discs, only two bootlegs... my pleasure was searching into local little shops, trading, never knowing what I would buy if I could buy something... with the net, it's so easy... where's the pleasure? Where are the real collectibles for fans? I don't talkabout these singles, which are great, but it's not enough: we need 7", 12".... hey JB, move your ass dude!

Replace the searching in little shops by searching Ebay..... If you find something special there, it's fun too, I think.

I always enjoy searching Ebay. You never know what your gonna find. And, since I don't have any record shops (other than major chain stores) around my house, it gives me a place to find stuff now.

LOL That too! However, I seem to be very good at spending my money even without visiting Ebay. :P

I have a collection incl bootlegs with nearly 900 audio items.
I have special 7" and 12" vynill. My way to search new items are local shops, record fairs, ebay, internet shops. I always like spending my money on things like that!

mmmmmmmmmm, your money hon, or mine???
Just a question.....
Anyway Every place I visit every little rare items sghop evet market..I search for special stuff and yes, the pleasure is very great to find something we don`t have.
And soemtimes very cheap too.
The stuff thet`s getting problems are the video`s from the last tour.....there`s not much to lay my hands on..though I a more than willing to pay...or trade

I wish I had little shops and such to go to around here. There aren't any small independant places like that in my area. The best I can hope for is a flea market, but most of the stuff there is just someone's crap they couldn't sell at a yard sale. I do remember when I was younger and used to visit my family in New Jersey more...my grandmother would take me to the flea market at Collingswood and I always found great stuff there. But, not here, so I have to reley on Ebay.

I've got quite a few old 12" singles....silver vinyl Wanted, yellow vinyl Never Say Goodbye...picture disc Slippery....etc.....I thought I'd never sell them...but ya know....if anyone made me a really good offer...who knows!
