Kathleen I agree with you- were you on Greasy Lake perhaps? I have met some great people there but being a Bon Jovi fan there is not a way to be popular. Cracks me up though how many PM's I would get from fans who were closet Jovi fans wanting to trade Bruce boots for Bon Jovi. Anyway, my friend who went with me to shows by both this summer put it best- she said I think I like Bruce's music better but Bon Jovi puts on a better show. What she meant was the energy level stayed consistently high during Bon Jovi whereas Bruce had times where the show noticeably dragged, particularly during The Rising songs. She is not a die hard fan of either but likes the well known Bruce tunes. So she really was not as appreciative as I was to hear some of the rarities we got in Philly though she did enjoy the concert very much. She is not much of a Bon Jovi fan except It's My Life but she stayed up singing and clapping the whole night- of course she was at the piece de resistance- the 8/8 Giants show. For myself I can't imagine life without Bruce music and to me picking one is like picking one of my kids but if the question is which one makes me happier Bon Jovi has to win that one.
