That is not Steve Guttenburg. I don't think that guy looks at all like Steve Guttenburg. As for the video, it's cheesy. But that good cheesy that many 80's videos had. I like it.

OH how true! Personally, those videos I love. Yes, I love them all because that was my Bon Jovi then. Sure, they don't make sense but it reminds me and probably a lot of us of a special time. That time for me was great cause Bon Jovi was all over TV and the world. I enjoy watching the videos. Memory lane is wonderful.

Exactly....they'll understand in 20 years when they watch the music videos of today that are considered top notch.

Bon Jovi has never really done "cheesy" Videos. Runaway is about the only one that qualifies as a low-budget-cheesy-even-for-the-times video. They've been pretty consistent with putting out upper tier videos. She Don't Know Me comes close..but mostly its an example of making the best out of what you have to work with.

A video qualifies as cheesy when you watch other music videos from the same period and notice the quality of them are better than the one in question. But if it's uniform....then it probably wasn't cheesy. There is no music video or movie in the world that isn't going to look dated 20 years later.

It's fine to have your opinion....but when sweeping statements like that are made about a time period you didn't live..it only shows your ignorance as opposed to an educated opinion. It's great younger fans try to play catch up....but they also need to learn to understand what they are seeing or hearing when it comes to music and videos that are before their time.

Ok im presuming that was aimed at me. Im not ignorant but I watch those videos and my OPINION about them is that thier not very good. Nothing to do with image and hair and make up, I would class them as cheesy yes. Even Jon Bon Jovi said "if you wanna torture me then sit me down and make me watch out first 5 videos". But i did say that watching those videos today shows how much the bands progressed.

Oh and to call someone un-educated just because they have a different opinion to you shows how arrogant you are.

Yeah, you can watch the more recent videos and say "look how far they have come." Because the more recent videos use production standards that exist now. These videos will look just as "cheesy" in 15 years. But you may not see it so readily because you are actually experiencing those videos as brand new. THEN you'll understand what some of us are saying when some kid is pointing at your favorite Bon Jovi video from 2000 being shown in 2015 and he's laughing and saying how CHEESY it is and how everything in 2000 was Cheesy. You'll see how it is dated by that point..but you'll also see it for what it was and not try to hold it to 2015 production standards.
