CAPITAIN CRASH AND THE BEAUTY QUEEN FROM MARS (The one that gives me best emotions) ... It's a long story and hard to describe...

Both songs you mention aren't JBJ-songs but BJ-songs.

Well, I don't know. Midnight in Chelsea has probably the meaningless lyrics. I never heard any Chelsey girls singing sha lalala sha lalala, maybe exept of during a JBJ-concert.

Im a bit shocked to hear you say I got the girl as meaningless, this is about Jon daughter and how he feels. I think people could understand this feeling about any girl in their life.

Im trying hard to think of a meaningless song and i cant think of one, every song is written based on a subject, feeling or a fictional story. Surely this gives the songs meaning?

I got the girl is to me a song loaded with emotions...and capt crash....just nonsense. Bur it`s only my opinion.

This is a tough one to answer cause it is so personal and obviously opinionated. Each song means something different to everyone that listens to it...especially based on personal experiences. For me, Never Say Goodbye brings back very strong memories and feelings and at the same time, I can't relate to something like Love For Sale. That is a hard one to answer though cause their lyrics are so meaningful in every song they write.

Most meaningless JBJ song would be Ugly or probably Naked! Both pointless.

You think those songs are pointless? You're missing the message then. Both of Jon's CDs have a lot to say.

I don't think ANY song is pointless--it obviously meant something to the person who wrote it. Just because a listener might not get it, whether it's too deep for them or just doesn't appeal to them, it doesn't mean the song has no meaning. Not only does a song have meaning to the writer, it takes on meaning to the listener by becoming associated with the listener's life in some way.

Art is subjective. It means something to someone, even if it doesn't mean something to everyone or the same thing to everyone.

Erm, i didnt say Jons cds didnt have anything to say. I do think you were missing the point though. I replied to the question which was asked, which is my opinion. Some people may not agree while others may agree but at the end of the day it is my opinion, just like your opinion of Richie and his cds, you dont listen to them as you cant get into them.
Not every JBJ song has a hidden meaning, and i can safely say that Destination Anywhere doesnt associate with my life in any way shape or form.
