Feels like a dream!!
I feel like the luckiest girl alive this morning. Yesterday afternoon I have to say felt like the most exciting thing I have ever done in my life, it was just awesome.
I had to work in the morning, so I had to quickly get home and change and go straight upto London on the train, I takes approx one hour from where I live. Anyway we arrived at the London Studio around 2.30pm and there weas a small gathering of people. My tickets for CD-UK said priority pass on the them, which I think I managed to get from pleading with the girl on the phone and telling her I have been a huge fan for 15 years, so we qued up until the gates were supposed to open at 3.15pm. Then a women came out and said that there was a delay and the doors weren't opening until 4.30pm, so we had to sit there for another hour and a half and it was bloody freezing. Anyway just before 4.30 the door opened and the people with the priority passes went it first. I was about 10th in the que and we had to line up in the corridor for another half an hour whilst Jovi were doing the sound check. This was really frustrating because they were only around the corner and we could hear Jon and Ritchie talking and I just couldn't wait to get in there. We finally got in to studio just before 5.00pm and I couldn't believe it I stood right at the front just in between Jon and Hugh microphones. Jons s music sheet was right in front of us and the set list was stuck to the floor, I was so excited, there was seven songs on the list and we were told the filming was going to take around an hour. Then the boys came on stage. First Tico, then Ritchie, Hugh, Jon and then David, there was a hugh cheer from the audience, it was just amazing. Richie was wearing a maroon top with holes in it and Jon was wearing that open demin shirt from the everyday video and black jeans, he looked stunning. He was so close to me I could of reached out a touched him. The whole band were in a fantastic mood smiling and talking to the audience. David was sooooo cute he kept smiling at me and my friend and I thought he was really enjoying himself. Richie was joking around with the sound people and Jon and that smile, well what more can I say. They sung everything live which was fantastic, especially because I went to Wembley last Saturday and heard the some of the new Bounce songs live, so I was hoping they would. 1st they sung Everyday(which was a great start, much better than what they showed earlier on CD-UK that morning. 2nd Misunderstood(they had to do this one twice because the sound people upstairs weren't happy with it, they was a big cheer from the crowd, the longer they played the happier we were). 3rd Undivided (truely amazing what more can I say, Jon really puts alot of feeling into this song). 4th Bounce (everyone was going wild jumping up and down to the chorus, it's so catchy it's a great song live). 5th It's my life (fantastic as usual) 6th The distance (I have never heard this song before as I don't won't to hear Bounce until i've bought the CD. Jon looked right at me and my friend smiled and said did we want to help him sing cos he couldn't remember all the words, he then lent down right in front of us to look though his song sheet and I swear you could see right down his shirt, his nipples and everything, I just looked at my mate with a massive grin it was unbelievable. They had to perform this song again and I have to say I love that song it's great live 7th Bad name, great as always, that was the last song which was written on the song sheet in front of us and by now it was just before 6.00pm. Jon asked if there was anyone going to the sheperds Bush gig but only a few so yes, Jon said he didn,t have a ticket but Tico said he knew someone how could get him one!!! Then Ritchie said do we want to hear one more, of course the crowd went wild. They both got there guitars ready and performed Wanted, which is my mates favourite Jovi song, every one sung the first verse then Jon took over. Then they got a huge round to applause, there was only about 150 people in the audience but everyone was going mental we wanted more but the boys thanked us for out support, Ritchie said we were a really great crowd and then they left the stage managing to shake a few peoples hands before security got in between them. I have to say I am on cloud number nine at the moment it will take me a good couple of days to come back down. I really wanted to get Sheperds Bush tickets and was very disapointed when I didn't but I have to say I would never of got in the front row about a metre away from Jon, He would never of spoken to me, smiled at me and I would of been able to see his small mole his left hand side, just above his waist when he reaches his arm up to sing It's my life(God I love that man!!) As i said before I haven't heard Bounce yet. I want to buy it first but after hearing, Misunderstood, Undivided, Bounce and The Distance all Live it's bloody amazing. |
Thanx for posting. I really wanna know when they r gonna show this.

Hi,
thank you sooo much for sharing your great day with us. Sounds it was a gorgeous day, a gorgeous show---and they are done all the songs live - wonderful (not like it was in 2000 when they did the special TOTP-where I was lucky enough to be there!) Can't wait to hear when this will be on air-and hopefully can get a copy of the show. TC Karin |
Thanks for that. Did they say, what it was actually done for, and when were likely to see it? And did Cat Deeley present it?
|
I don't actually think they are going to show the whole thing at once. The security guys there yesterday said it was most likely to be used as individual show as each song is released. So Undivided, Bounce, The Distance & Misunderstood will be released as singles.
Cat Deeley wasn't there, just the sound crew, Jovi were the only guys recording as most of the recording is done live whilst the show on air in the morning. |
