Rain
The guys in the band joke about how it always rains at their concerts. On the Video Playback Jon says they could bring rain to the desert.
It seems that EVERY time I see the band it does rain, so I've always joked that if there was a drought, the band should play. I didn't know until the last year or so that that they joke about it too. I thought it was just my luck that I always saw them in the rain. LOL So, anyway, has anyone else had typically rainy concert experiences? Just curious! How prevelant is this Bon Jovi bringing rain phenomenon? Personally, I think it's that rain dance Jon does in Keep the Faith. ;) Becky |
I remember it raining on the Crush CD.
It nearly rained @ Milton Keynes last year but held off whilst BJ were on. Othere than that its always been sunny & hot when I've seen BJ. Mike |
dublin rain
well I bet you that no one experienced rain like dublin 2001 for crush....A thunder storm all night! the heaviest rain ever! I had gained about 10 stone from being soaked through...
Best bit was when jon mentioned it was because the angels couldn't get tickets...then the biggest fork of lightning you've ever seen flashed right across the sky filling it...jon then apologised to god!!! coool :D |
Rain!!
I have seen the guys perform in Australia twice... and it rained TWICE!!
The first time I saw the band was when they performed at Eastern Creek, Sydney way back in 1995!! It was like 4 seasons in one day! When we arrived to line up, it was about 30 degrees celsius!! Rather HOT!! By the time we had all filed in, it started raining... and then it HAILED!! People were screaming and running trying to get out of the hail!! The only problem was there was no where to go!! We ended up closer to the stage then than when it wasnt raining!! For the whole concert we were up to our ankles in mud! It was definitely worth it though! When I travelled down to see them play in Melbourne last year, it was an indoor concert, but it rained all day while we were lining up to get in to the venue!! But then again, if you know Melbourne, it rains down there all the time!! I just hope that when I see them again this year (hopefully in Sydney AND Melbourne) it won't rain at all!! Kell :) |
