If I was your mother

What do you think of the song and the though behind it.

Personally I think this psycho lovesong is amazing. There is no stronger band then a blood relation. And as a lover you never get that close to someone. This song is maybe a little ironic. But I think it's an amazing song. What they describe with the song is that the love of a mother always is there no matter what happens and that a lover can go away.

Like I always hear. Love is fun for as long as it last and friends and family will always be there. I know you can doubt the friends part. But good friends will.

I don't think that is what this song is about. I think this song is about someone who is in love with someone and though he gets her love he just doesn't get thru to her. The question in this song is is if he could get thru to her if he would be her mother. It's not about a love that can go away I think, they're not describing the love of your mother.

I think the song is terrible. The lyrics might be nice, but they don't fit the music. The Mother scream is very good, but it sounds kinda stupid, the desperate sound in it doesn't fit the word. Just like with Rammstein's Mutter.

Not true. Family can let you down just as your friends. Your mother can let you down as well. It's hard to imagine but it's true.

Maybe not about that love, but the connection between a mother and child and the connection between lovers.
I think the song is ironic... remember that. I think the deeper meaning is about the love of a mother.

About the family part:
Well that's your opinion. I know my family would never leave me or let me down. Neither would leave them or let them down.
Simple cause we have been to hell and back and we are still as close as possible and we always will be.

Second thing neither would my best friends, the are always there. Even if I call them in the middle of the night.

I think the song is brilliant, when I first heard Keep the Faith it was the only song that made me want to listen to it again as soon as the track ended. But it was only number 6 on the album, number 7 was also repeated straight after, all 9 minutes of it.

Yeah, they obviously don't know my family, lol.

Seriously, I really like the song. The lyrics are fun, but I wouldn't read too much into it, other than it is clearly one psycho love relationship.

And no, blood relationship doesn't mean Jack. I had lovers I was closer to than my family. I prefer it that way.

As being a mother of 5, and you being just a 19 year old guy with maybe a lot of frustrations about you mother...I can say..and I defend no matter what: the love of a motheris always there. If for any reason a mother will ave to let a child go it`s gonna hurt like nothing else.
There is nothing to describe the opain a mother has to go through to give birth to her child and the hardest thing in the world is when she has to say goodbye..( when she has to bury her kid or elsewhere).
I know, I have been there. IAnd I am def. no exception.
So..don`t make statements when you are not able to judge or feel or know!

I wouldn't make a blanket statement like that as I am sure you do not know ALL MOTHERS. As a devoted mother of 5, I am sure you cannot imagine a mother not loving her child or letting the child down. It happens, though, every single day. So, I don't think you could possibly speak for all mothers.

What right do you have to tell someone, what they feel isn't right??????? Or even more so, that they don't feel?

Yes I def think I can judge, cause someone is judging mothers.
Yes, maybe I am devoted to my kids, thank Goddess I am, and I do know the pain and sorrow soem ofmothers have to go through, and some kids have to go through. I see a lot ofreally awful things happening at work, mothers who we think, are to bleame by not taking care of their kids, don1t give them the love they deserve. But, believe me, there is always a reason and always lots of pain!!!!Both sides.
When a mother decides to give he child away she is not doing it because it`s fun. It hurts..but not everyone is as strong as the priviliged ones among us.
Never judge without knowing.
I still stick to my opinion cause it is so easy tojudge and so difficult to forgive and to understand
And I don`t think I have rights just opinions and no judging!
